Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Means Ends Analysis (MEA) Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah Kelas XI IPS E Dan F Di SMAN 9 Pekanbaru
Students’ critical thinking ability in learning history is still low due to ineffective learning models. The Means Ends Analysis (MEA). Model helps improve this ability by training students to think critically and solve problems. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class XI IPS E and class XI IPS F at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests and documentation. The results of this study show that (1) the implementation of the Means Ends Analysis (MEA) model can make classroom is no longer teacher-centered and has been successfully conditioned to focus on students. (2) Hypothesis testing using the Independent Samples Test shows a significance value of 0.00, meaning 0.00 < 0,05, which rejects H_0 and accepts H_a at a 5% significance level. (3) The R Square test results are 0.91, which means the influence of variabel X on variable Y is 91%. Thus, the learning model Means Ends Analysis contributes 91% to the critical thinking ability variable.
