Status Trofik Danau Daek Berdasarkan Trophic Index (TRIX) Di Desa Kenidai Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau

The TRIX index is an approach that can be used to determine the fertility status of a water body. This TRIX index uses the main and supporting approaches. The purpose of this study was to determine the fertility status of Lake Daek using the TRIX trophic index, where this research was conducted in July-September 2023 at Lake Daek. There are 3 stations in this study, namely station 1 is the inlet of the lake, station 2 (turning area) and station 3 (outlet) of Lake Daek. At each station there are 2 sampling points, namely the surface and 2 times Secchi. Sampling was done 4 times with a time interval of one week. Water quality parameters measured were DIN, total phosphate, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll-α, brightness, temperature, acidity. The results of TRIX index water quality observations in Lake Daek during the study brightness 80-90 cm, temperature27.4 -31.8oC, acidity 6.5-7.0, total phosphate 0.16-0.29 mg/L, DIN 0.06-0.22 mg/L, chlorophyll - α 14.29- 16.36 μg/L oxygen saturation 76.20- 123.82%. The TRIX index value of Lake Daek is 4.22-6.87, indicating that Lake Daek waters are in mesotrophic - hypereutrophic conditions. Lake Daek still supports the life of organisms in the water.
