Pengembangan Industri Rotan (Studi Di Cv. Usaha Jaya Mulia) Kabupaten Solok Sumatera Barat
ABSTRACT
CV. Usaha Jaya Mulia is developing so that a study of industrial development strategies is needed. To improve and maintain the continuity of the industry and increase competitiveness, a development strategy is needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of the rattan industry through SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) at CV. Usaha Jaya Mulia. The research method uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation and in-depth interviews with 4 informants representing CV. Usaha Jaya Mulia and KPHL (Kesatuan Pengelolaan Hutan Lindung) Solok as partners using interview guidelines and literature studies. Data analysis using SWOT analysis is used to determine the internal and external conditions of the industry. IFAS (Internal Strategic factor Analysis Summary) and EFAS (External Strategic Analysis Summary) are used to determine Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats factors. From the recapitulation of the analysis of internal and external factors, the x-axis value is 0.5 and the y-axis is 0.3. This value indicates that the industry is in quadrant I with a positive value. This position explains that the industry is in a strong and opportunity condition and has an aggressive strategy recommendation.
