ABSTRACT
The Batang Dareh Bulakan Reservoir in Limbukan Village, South Payakumbuh
Subdistrict, Payakumbuh City is a crucial infrastructure for water resources
management in the region. This research aims to evaluate the performance of the
reservoir using the Likert scale method. The assessment stages refer to Circular
Letter of the Directorate General of Water Resources Number SE/D/2017,
including inventory, field surveys, interviews, direct assessments, and
documentation studies. The research results indicate that the reservoir is in fairly
good physical condition, with a score of 75.42%. The reservoir's operation and
services show quite satisfactory performance with a score of 70.00%. However,
aspects of safety and environmental impact require further attention, with a score
of 81.18%. The institutional aspect demonstrates good conditions with a score of
98.70%. Overall, the reservoir achieves a total performance score of 76.70%,
indicating Sufficient performance. This study provides recommendations for
effective maintenance strategies to support the development of water resources
management in the area.
