Analisis Rantai Pasok Lidi Nipah (Nypa Fruticans) Di Kecamatan Batang Tuaka Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir
ABSTRACT
Nipah sticks (Nypa fruticans) are one of Indonesia's potential export commodities. Nipah sticks is the central part of the nipah leaf, known for its strength and durability. The potential for nipah plants in Riau is significant, and one of its habitats can be found in the Batang Tuaka District. The research aims to understand the supply chain of nipah sticks in Batang Tuaka District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. It also investigates the marketing costs, marketing margin, profit, and farmer share of nipah sticks (Nypa fruticans) in Batang Tuaka District using a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques involved observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of the study revealed that four parties are involved in the supply chain process farmers, collectors, middlemen, and consumers. The total marketing costs are IDR 246,2/kg, total marketing margin is IDR 1.786,0/kg, total profit is IDR 6.454,0/kg, and the farmer share is considered efficient at 73.3%. The total marketing volume includes 97,3 kg by farmers, 1,371 kg by collectors, and 13,600 kg by middlemen.
