ABSTRACT
Internationally, there is no international agreement in the form of specific legal protection for animal welfare, so that animal welfare protection only relies on the study of relevant international guidelines. Therefore, there are no international standards that can ensure legal protection for animal welfare. In this writing the author focuses on legal protection efforts for animals in tourist attractions whose fate is threatened by the war conflict between Palestine and Israel. This research is legal research on legal principles, namely legal research which aims to find principles. applicable positive legal law or doctrine.
The emergence of the pre-draft The United Nations Convention on Animal Health and Protection (UNCAHP) which was initiated by the Global Animal Law (GAL) association could be a solution for protecting animal welfare. Conceptually, whether or not the influence of the Global Animal Law association with its relevance to the pre-draft of the United Nations Convention on Animal Health and Protection (UNCAHP) and also related to International Humanitarian Law, especially the 1949 Geneva Convention, is related to the achievement of indicators in animal welfare theory.
A form of legal protection for animal welfare in tourist attractions as a result of the Palestinian and Israeli war conflict is the establishment of various conventions and also international organizations responsible for protecting animal welfare. It is hoped that the Global Animal Law association can make every effort to complete the formation of The United Nations Convention on Animal Health and Protection (UNCAHP) so that it becomes a valid legal product.
