Status pengelolaan rantau larangan di desa sibiruang kabupaten kampar provinsi riau

This research was conducted in March-April 2024 in Rantau Larangan, Desa Sibiruang, Koto Kampar Hulu District, Kampar Regency, Riau. The aim is to assess the management of Rantau Larangan and to understand water quality through the measurement of physicochemical parameters based on quality standards. The method used in this research is a survey method, namely making direct observations at the research location. The data taken in this research are primary and secondary data. The results show water conditions with a temperature of 25.2°C, brightness of 45.6 cm, flow velocity of 1.38 m/s, pH of 6, depth of 1.3 m, dissolved oxygen of 6.61 mg/l, nitrate of 0.030 mg/l, and phosphate of 0.031 mg/l. The water quality is suitable for sustainable management and meets the standards of Indonesian Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 for classes two and three for fishery conservation. Based on the evaluation, the management status of Rantau Larangan in Desa Sibiruang is categorized as "Minimum Management" (Bronze rank) with a score of 33.25%. The evaluation criteria show input at 71%, process at 16%, output at 23%, and outcome at 53%. This indicates that the area design has been implemented, but further efforts are needed to achieve better management objectives. It is recommended that the Rantau Larangan committee collaborates with the fisheries department to enhance legal status and protected sustainable management.
