Rehabilitasi Sosial Pengguna Narkoba (Studi Tentang Resosialisasi Pengguna Narkoba Di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Tampan Provinsi Riau)
The rate of drug use continues to increase each year, leading to adverse effects on users and the surrounding community, particularly in terms of health, psychological well-being, and social aspects. Drug users must undergo a resocialization process to restore their roles and functions in society. The purpose of this study is to examine the resocialization process of drug users and the challenges encountered at the rehabilitation center of Rumah Sakit Jiwa Tampan. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects consist of rehabilitation officers and rehabilitation patients. The findings indicate that the rehabilitation process consists of three main stages: detoxification, social rehabilitation, and advanced guidance. The desocialization process begins at the detoxification stage, while resocialization occurs during social rehabilitation through social control, knowledge socialization, behavioral socialization, religious socialization, and social support. However, several challenges arise in the resocialization process, categorized into internal and external barriers. Internal barriers include psychological issues and a lack of motivation among users, whereas external barriers consist of a lack of family support, an unsupportive environment, societal stigma, and limitations in rehabilitation services.
