Tindak Kejahatan Berulang Pada Narapidana Anak Di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Klas Ii Pekanbaru (Studi Tentang Desosialisasi Dan Resosialisasi)
Child convicts who have been given their initial sentence, re-offend. The recurring occurrence of crimes against child prisoners certainly has a background, where previously they had been given guidance by the Special Child Development Institute (LPKA). The aim of this research is to find out why they commit repeated crimes using labelling and differential association theories as well as the resocialization development process carried out by LPKA. The research method used is qualitative. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The research subjects were 5 people. The results of the research are that the recurrence of crimes committed by child prisoners is caused by bad labelling from the community in their environment, then old friendships and family disorganization. And the desocialization and resocialization process provided by LPKA is very good. Their first desocialization process adapts quickly, in contrast to the desocialization of repeat crimes. The resocialization process is carried out, namely providing non-formal education and religious programs. The conclusion is that the desocialization and resocialization processes provided by the LPKA do not guarantee that crimes will not be committed. The recurrence of crimes by child prisoners is due to bad labelling from society, making the resocialization process unable to be implemented by them, causing them to return to old friendships and commit crimes again.
