Peran Perantau Terhadap Masjid Raya Limo Suku Di Nagari Sungai Pua Kabupaten Agam Provinsi Sumatera Barat
The role of nomads in the mosque is the assistance of nomads to the mosque in their hometown. The purpose of the research is to identify migrant assistance to mosques both in the form of physical development and non-physical development using Robert D Putnam's social capital theory. The technique for determining informants is by Purposive sampling technique. The subjects in the study amounted to 7 people, namely 3 people from the mosque, 2 people from the village government, and 2 people from the overseas side. The data collection techniques used were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that there is migrant assistance to the limo tribe grand mosque, both physical assistance and non-physical assistance. 1) Physical assistance in the form of cash 2) Non-physical assistance in the form of ideas and suggestions 3) Non-physical assistance in the form of social networks and relationships. Assistance from the members of the limo tribe grand mosque is very significant and plays a vital role in the limo tribe grand mosque.
