Survival Analisis Pada Penderita Hipertensi Dengan Komorbid Di Rsud Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti
Hypertension with comorbidities is a serious health challenge in Kepulauan Meranti Regency. Geographic barriers further complicate healthcare access and disease management. Survival analysis is used to assess patient survival time and identify influencing factors. To determine the duration of controlled blood pressure among hospitalized hypertensive patients with comorbidities at RSUD Kepulauan Meranti from January to July 2024, and to analyze the associated factors using the Kaplan-Meier method and Log-Rank test. This was a descriptive analytical study using a survival analysis approach. A total of 107 patients meeting the inclusion criteria were selected. Secondary data from medical records were analyzed using Kaplan-Meier survival curves and Log-Rank tests with SPSS. Most patients were under 59 years old (51.4%), female (57%), non-government workers (97.2%), had a normal BMI (78.5%), and lived in areas with easy access to RSUD (65.4%). The median survival time for patients with controlled blood pressure was 8 days, compared to 6 days for those with uncontrolled pressure. No statistically significant differences were found between survival times based on gender, age, occupation, BMI, or residential area (p > 0.05). Patients with controlled blood pressure showed longer survival times. However, sociodemographic factors did not significantly affect survival duration based on statistical analysis.
