Nilai Ekonomi Kawasan Ekowisata Hutan Pinus Bukit Candika Kabupaten Kampar Kecamatan Bangkinang Kota

ABSTRACT
The purpose of the study was to determine the characteristics of visitors who visit the ecotourism area and to calculate the economic value of the Bukit Candika Pine Forest ecotourism area, Kampar Regency, Bangkinang City District. The research design used was a quantitative design with the travel cost method. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Instrument analysis used a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale. The results of this study were (1) Male respondents were 44.90% and female respondents were 55.10%. The respondents who visited were mostly at the age of 20-30 years as many as 64.29%. Respondents with the highest level of education were SMA/SMK/MA as many as 55.10%. The largest number of respondents came from Bangkinang City, namely 40.82%. Based on marital status, the largest number of respondents were unmarried, namely 53.06%. Based on income level, it was found that respondents with an income level of Rp. 2,000,000 - 3,000,000 were the most dominant, namely 36.73%. Based on the reason for arrival, it was found that 80.61% of respondents gave the reason for arrival as the main purpose for recreation, the most dominant respondents came in groups of 82.65%, respondents with a travel time of ≤1 hour were more dominant, namely 51.02% (2) The economic value of the Bukit Candika Pine Forest Ecotourism area in Kampar Regency was obtained using the travel cost method, namely Rp. 619,255,296/year.
