Evaluasi Kegiatan Rehabilitasi Mangrove Berbasis Masyarakat Di Desa Jangkang Kabupaten Bengkalis

ABSTRACT
An evaluation of community-based mangrove rehabilitation activities in Jangkang Village, Bengkalis Regency, was conducted to determine the factors influencing the success of the programme and its effectiveness. Rehabilitation focused on two locations: the coastal area and the Jangkang River. The approach used was descriptive qualitative with in-depth interviews, field observations, literature studies, and data analysis using Nvivo 12 Plus software. The results showed that the effectiveness of rehabilitation in the coastal area was low due to weak planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. In contrast, activities in the Jangkang River area were considered quite effective, with community involvement, understanding of the programme, and direct benefits. Improvements in planning and counselling are needed to optimise and sustain mangrove rehabilitation.
