Simulasi Dan Analisis Penggunaan Unified Power Quality Conditioner (Upqc) Pada Jaringan Distribusi
ABSTRACT
Power quality disturbances in the Distribution Network cause losses both from the generation side and from the load side, therefore a mechanism is needed that can anticipate these problems. This research offers a method that is able to overcome these problems. Especially related to disturbances caused by Voltage sag, Voltage swell due to changes in load characteristics in the repeater network. The method used in overcoming these problems is to utilize the work of power electronic devices and the design of filters and transformers connected in series and parallel on the repeater line. The main method that will be carried out in this research is to design switch matrix control and LC Filter. Switch matrix control serves to determine the power electronic equipment and select the filter design to be selected. The filter design is adjusted to the cluster voltage disturbance due to changes in power factor and voltage that may occur. UPQC itself has a multiswitch filter that will overcome power quality disturbances such as Voltage sag and Voltage swell by adjusting the inductor and inductor and capacitor values on the DVR filter... In the research that will be analyzed and simulated the amount of disturbance that occurs with variations from +- 20%, +- 40% and +-60%. Based on the simulation results and validation tests, it can be concluded that UPQC works well with a voltage tolerance of less than 20-60% and is valid. DVR and DSTATcom will be configured and controlled by UPQC depending on the fault conditions that occur in the electricity distribution network.
