Peran Stakeholder Dalam Mitigasi Bencana Banjir Di Kota Dumai
Dumai City is a disaster-prone area, particularly vulnerable to hydrometeorological disasters such as floods. Flooding has become a common and significant issue in Dumai City, caused by both natural and human factors. Thus, an effective stakeholder role in flood disaster mitigation in Dumai City is crucial to minimize future disaster risks. This effort requires the support of competent human resources in flood disaster mitigation, emphasizing the active involvement of various stakeholders, including the government, private sector, NGOs, academics, schools, and the community. This study aims to examine the roles of stakeholders in flood disaster mitigation in Dumai City and the obstacles they face in fulfilling these roles. The theoretical framework used in this research is the Stakeholder Role concept by Nugroho (2014). The study employs a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The findings indicate that the roles of stakeholders in flood disaster mitigation in Dumai City are generally effective, though some challenges persist for each stakeholder group in carrying out their responsibilities.
