Analisis Keselamatan Kerja Pada Proses Bongkar Hasil Tangkapan Di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera (Pps) Bungus, Sumatera Barat
Bungus Oceanic Fishing Port, located in Padang, West Sumatra, is responsible for overseeing the unloading process of fish catches. This process is carried out by the crew after the vessel docks at the port. Due to the involvement of many workers, the unloading process presents a high risk of occupational accidents. This study aims to identify occupational accident cases among captains and crew members during the unloading process, as well as the contributing factors. The research methodology includes observations and interviews with captains and crew members regarding the unloading process and potential hazards. The analysis methods used include descriptive analysis, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA). The findings indicate that out of 11 activities in the unloading process, 8 involve occupational accident risks: crew disembarking from the vessel (6.7%), preparing transport baskets (30%), preparing weighing equipment (13.3%), opening the hatch and crew entering the hold (3.33%), transferring fish from the hold to baskets (30%), transportation and weighing (10%), cleaning the vessel (6.67%), and the vessel departing from the dock (3.33%). Implementing risk control measures can reduce hazard levels to a lower category. Key factors to focus on include the proper condition of transport baskets and weighing equipment, as well as the complete use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as a primary preventive measure.
