Pengaruh Variasi Konsentrasi Promi Dan Waktu Pengomposan Terhadap Kualitas Kompos Limbah Baglog Jamur Tiram
ABSTRACT
Oyster mushroom baglog waste is a residual growing medium left after oyster mushroom cultivation that is no longer productive if not managed properly, it can cause enviromental problems. This study aims to determine the effect of varying Promi concentrations and composting durations on the quality of compost produced from oyster mushroom baglog waste. The method used is anaerobic decomposition by varying Promi concentration of 0%, 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.3% and 0.4%, as well as composting durationa of 10, 20, 30, 40 dan 50 days. The parameters evaluated include pH, moisture content, C/N ratio, organic carbon content and macro nutrients (N + P2O5 + K2O). The concentration of Promi at 0.3% yielded the best result, as it was able to accelerate the decomposition of organic matter and increase the nutrient content of the compost. The results obtained are in accordance with SNI 7763:2018 standards, with the measurement results as follows pH of 8.01, moisture content of 8.08%, nitrogen at 3.36%, organic carbon at 39.69%, C/N ratio of 11.91% and macro nutrients (N + P2O5 + K2O) totaling 5.58%. The duration of the composting process also significantly affects compost quality. The optimal composting period is 30 days, during which the compost reaches full maturity and all quality parameters meet the SNI. The resulting compost has stable and appropriate values for pH, moisture content, macro nutrients and C/N ratio. From this study, it can be concluded that baglog waste has good potential as a raw material for compost production.
