Jenis Dan Kepadatan Bivalva Pada Ekosistem Padang Lamun Di Desapengudang Kabupaten Bintan Provinsi Kepulauan Riau
Seagrass beds are one of the ecosystems that have many functions, especially for marine biota such as bivalves. The high exploitation of bivalves and the degradation of seagrass beds which are bivalve habitats can affect the composition and density of bivalve species associated with seagrass beds. This study aims to determine the type and density of seagrasses, the type and density of bivalves, and the relationship between seagrass density and bivalve density in Pengudang Village. The research was carriedd out in September 2024. The method used in this research is survey method. Seagrass observation and bivalve sampling used line transect quadrant method with 1 m x 1 m plots, in each plot there are 50 cm x 50 cm 4 sub plots. The types of seagrass found consist of 5 species, namely; Cymodocea rotundata, Enhalus acoroides, Halodule pinifolia,
Halodule uninervis, and Thalasia hemprichii with a type density ranging from 66.67 to 113.13 stands/m2. There are 13 species of bivalves that have been found,
namely; Anadara antiquata, Trachycardium flavum, Gafrarium pectinatum, Dosinia lupinus, Circe scripta, Circe tumefacta, Pitar citrinus, Callista lilacina, Moerella pulchella, Pinna bicolor, Modiolus philippinarum, Mactra grandis and Pinctada maculata with the variety range from 3.90 to 5.70 ind/m2. The diversity
index (H’) was 2.50 to 3.35, the uniformity index (E) was 0.89 to 0.94 and the dominance index (C) was 0.12 to 0.20. Seagrass and bivalve density in Pengudang Village have a very significant relationship with a strong relationship category, which is r = 0.817 with a p value = 0.000 (p
