Penerapan Algoritma K-Means Clustering Untuk Menentukan Status Gizi Balita Di Desa Kubang Jaya
Nutritional value is one of the many indicators of toddler health. If the body does not receive adequate nutrition or consumes excessive food, then body functions will not operate optimally. In Indonesia, nutritional problems in toddlers are still frequently encountered, especially in rural areas. Kubang Jaya village is one of the regions that does not yet have general data to describe the nutritional status or value of toddlers in Kubang Jaya village because the data collected by the integrated healthcare post (posyandu) is not utilized well due to a lack of human resources. Therefore, the research will apply the K-Means clustering algorithm to the data of 936 children (before preprocessing). From the results of this study, it was found that there are 4 (four) clusters: 227 children are classified as overweight (cluster 1), consisting of 107 boys and 119 girls; 261 children are classified as having good nutrition (cluster 2), consisting of 133 boys and 128 girls; 283 children are classified as undernourished (cluster 3), consisting of 145 boys and 138 girls; and 165 children are classified as malnourished (cluster 4), consisting of 76 boys and 89 girls.
