This study aims to develop web-based mathematics learning media using Adobe Flash that is valid, practical, and effective in improving students' learning independence in geometric transformation material for grade IX of SMP/MTs. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Borg & Gall development model modified from Sugiyono (2019). The subjects in this study were students of grades IXA and IXB of MTsS Al-Muslimun, grade IXA as the control class and grade IXB as the experimental class. The results showed that the increase in learning independence of students in the experimental class was more significant than the increase in learning independence of students in the control class, as seen from the results of the Independent Sample T-test on the N-Gain Score of the control class and the experimental class obtained Sig. 0.001 so that the N-Gain score of the experimental class was more than the N-Gain score of the control class. It can be concluded that the development of web-based learning media using Adobe Flash is effective in improving students' learning independence.
