penerapan model problem based learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas viii-c smp negeri 1 kerumutan kabupaten pelalawan
By using Problem Based Learning (PBL), this classroom action research seeks to improve the learning process and increase students' mathematics learning outcomes. In the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, this study was attended by 31 students with various skill levels from class VIII-C of SMP Negeri 1 Kerumutan. This study was divided into two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely preparation, implementation, observation and reflection. The research instruments were in the form of learning devices and data collection instruments. The learning devices used were the Learning Objective Flow (ATP) and Teaching Modules. The data collection instruments used were observation sheets and mathematics learning outcome tests. Based on the analysis of students' mathematics learning outcome data, in the frequency distribution analysis there was an increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes from the baseline score (before the action) to cycle I and cycle II. The data showed that the percentage of students who achieved KKTP at the baseline score of 8 students (25.80%) increased to 17 students (54.83%) in cycle I and increased to 19 students (61.29%) in cycle II. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model can improve the learning process and enhance mathematics learning outcomes in class VIII-C of SMPN 1 Kerumutan in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, specifically in statistics.
