This research of this skripsi writer do in the city of pekanbaru, The purpose of this research is to know the prospect of light meals on small industry in the city of pekanbaru.
The kind of data used in this research is based on data skunder from Dinas Perindustrian Dan Perdagangan Kota Pekanbaru, Badan Pusat Statistik Kota Pekanbaru And from the results of the research processed. A method of analysis used in research is descriptive qualitative and quantitative it is a method of analysis of data to collect and tabulated data in table which later elaborated so as to produce information that can provide the image and associated with the existing theories its relevance.
The result of this research was known that the value of Benefit Cost Ratio ( BCR ) > 1, with a value BCR is 3.57 highest and lowest 1.67 with an average 2.54 taken a sample pf this than 30 companies of light meals in the city of Pekanbaru. The result of calculation BCR is the light meals of small industries haveing the prospect for in developed. Then if viewed from potential has considerable financial incom and very helpful in each economic entrepreneurs and satisfying the needs of household appliance, and open up jobs for job seekers. With intervening regional government can spur development of this effort.
