The need for clean water in Dumai City annually increasing but clean water provided by the government is very limited . To meet the water needs of the community , the City of Dumai provide the Regional Water Company ( PDAM ) with a decent tariff determination for survival taps .
The method used in this research is contingent valuation by using the Statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) to estimate the water rates in the city of Dumai. Of the water rates will be in the analysis of the Net Present Value, Benefit cost ratio, Payback Periode and the internal rate of return clean water projects Dumai.
Addressing the needs of the water carried by the phasing scenarios for each of the water supply capacity starting from 80 L / sec in the year 2013-2014 and 160 liters / sec in the year 2016-2032 . The results of the analyses gives an overview of the feasibility of clean water projects rates in Dumai city with clean water service coverage includes the city of Dumai Dumai is District 4 District of the West . East Dumai , Dumai Dumai City and South . Water tariff of Rp . 5,000 to 1,047 BCR , NPV of RP.12.166.166.553 , 06 and 15.15 % IRR .
