Hubungan Minat Baca Dan Motivasi Belajar Dengan Hasil Belajar Ekonomi Siswa Kelas Xi Ips SMA N .10 Pekanbaru
The low learning motivation and interest in reading the economy so disappointing learning outcomes of students, parents and teachers. It is characterized by infrequent tasks done, enthusiasm in learning less and less active students in the learning process. This study aims to examine the relationship between reading and learning motivation and learning outcomes of economics. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of two independent variables, namely ReadingInterest Economics and Motivation Learning Economic and one dependent variable is the Economic Study Results. The whole population is used as a sample research (engineering sample saturated). The number of students in class XI IPS SMAN 10 Pekanbaru respondents as many as 157 peoples. Prior research data was taken, first tested the instrument to test the validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the test frequency, descriptive, product moment correlation. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between economic interest in reading the results of the economic study. Likewise, there is a significant relationship between motivation to learn economics with the results of the economic study. There is a significant relationship between economic interest in reading and motivation bilajar economy together with the results of the economic study. The higher the reading and the students' motivation, the higher the economic learning outcomes achieved by students. Conversely the lower the interest in reading and learning motivation of students it will also lower the learning results obtained by students.
