Studi Pemanfaatan Dermaga Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Palabuhanratu Provinsi Jawa Barat

This study was conducted in March until April 2017 at Palabuhanratu National Fishery Port, West Java Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the pier length needs in accordance with the fishermen needs and other actors in order to accelerate the loading and unloading activities in the pier. The method used in this research is survey method by observating, measuring and interview port staffs and local fishermen directly. The result of showed that the utilization rate of the pier at Palabuhanratu National Fishery Port is 97.85% at first unload pier and 15.62% at first load pier and 2.83% at second unload pier and 0.85% at second load pier. The efficiency of pier fasilities at Palabuhanratu National Fishery Port on first unload pier is 69.10%, first load pier is 8.43%, second unload pier is 0.75% and second load pier is 0.22%.
