Penentuan Kinerja Bahan Bakar Solar Yang Diolah Dengan Adsorben Pada Kompor Tungku Sumbu Solar
In general, kerosene is used as a fuel stove fired furnace, but the price of kerosene is very expensive 1 liter Rp 10000, -. Solar can be used as an alternative fuel substitute for kerosene for a furnace stove. The purpose of this research is to utilize diesel fuel as a substitute for kerosene in a furnace stove. In order to obtain the best diesel fuel performance, before the diesel fuel is used on a furnace stove, it is first processed with a detergent charcoal adsorbent (5, 10, 15, 20, 25 gram) and camphor (5, 10, 15, 20, 25 gram ), Then separated adsorbents from diesel. The performance of diesel fuel is determined by the color of the flame and the time it takes to boil 1 Liter of water. In this research, it was found that diesel that has been treated with adsorbent can be used as substitute fuel of kerosene on the furnace stove. Solar prior to use is first treated with detergent adsorbent and camphor. The best diesel performance on a detergent adsorbent is 15 grams with a blue flame and takes 05.13 minutes to boil 1 liter of water, whereas on camphor camphor is 15 grams with a blue flame and takes 07.11 minutes to boil 1 Liter of water. The best performance is on the addition of 15 gram detergent adsorbent. This fuel has density characteristics of 820 kg / m3, viscosity 2.0 mm2 / s, flash point 600C and heat value 48.156 MJ / kg.
