Used cooking oil is cooking oil which has been used repeatedly and can be utilized to fuel the furnace stove wheelbase. The purpose of this research is, alternative fuel from mix of used cooking oil and diesel oil, determine the influence of camphor adsorbent weight with variation of mixed ratio mix of used cooking oil and diesel oil on the best fuel quality, characterizing the fuel used. Research method is done with several stages that is characterize. Alternative fuels from the mix of used cooking oil and diesel are up at a ratio of 1: 9 with a weight of 15 gram camphor adsorbents. The resulting characteristic values are density 0,83 gr / cm3, viscosity 3,95 mm2 / s, calorific value 47,003 MJ / kg and flash point 55 oC. Based on research conducted, alternative fuels diesel fuel stove advisable use of fuel mixt of used cooking oil with diesel oil at a ratio of 1: 9 with the weight of 15 gram camphor adsorbents.
