Proses Bleaching Pada Daur Ulang Kertas Cetak Bekas Dengan Variasi Naoh Dan Suhu Bleaching
When the paper has become a necessity in everyday life. From these activities, of course there is unused which eventually become garbage. The main ingredient in the manufacture of pulp or paper is known by the term pulp. Pulping process that is optimal for non wood plant fibers are alkali process using NaOH. This study aims fatherly recycle used print paper bleaching process as well as determine the effect of the use of NaOH concentration and temperature variations bleaching and test panelists for color and texture, as well as measurements of paper grammage and thickness. Bleaching is set aside residual lignin from pulping results. In the process of separation of ink from the pulp bleaching will be separated by the chemical reaction of ions. NaOH and H2O2 will react to form ions perhydroxy anions. This will eliminate the anion Perhydroxy ink color that has been released. Analysis of the results of this study using the method of collecting oraganoleptic with panelists (SusunggihWijana, 2009).The research result shows that the best results of the test panel on the use of color in 4 % NaOH and 900C temperature bleaching with white. The best results of tests conducted on the use of texture 4 % NaOH and bleaching temperature 900C. The results of the measurements of the thinnest paper is 0.15 cm thick , for the result is the smallest weight of 6.57 g/sheet . The addition of NaOH affect the color and texture, because the use of NaOH will dissolve lignin and termination levels of the value chain cellulose molecules so decreases. Keywords : bleaching, waste paper print, NaOH, organoleptic
