Pembuatan Sabun Transparan Dengan Variasi Jumlah Gula Dan Etanol
Soap is made with a cleaning chemical reaction between sodium or potassium bases with fatty acids from vegetable oils or animal fats. The main component of soap-making consist of a chain fatty acid C12 – C18 and sodium salts. Transparent soap is soap that has the highest level of transparency, emits light the spreads in the form of small particles, so that objects which are outside the soap would seem obvious. The oldest method is to dissolve the soap in alcohol with gentle heating to form a clear solution. At this research conducted by making transparent soap with varying weight of sugar which is 4, 6, 8,10, 12 (g) and the volume of ethanol that is 40, 42, 44, 46, 48 (ml). This research aims to study and assess the effect of sugar by weight and volume of ethanol as an ingredient for the manufacture of transparent soap into transparency. To obtain optimum conditions in the process of making transparent soap. The result is a heavy relationship sugar on transparent soap is the greater weight of sugar higher the transparency of the soap as well as the relationship of ethanol volume to the transparent soap is more volume of ethanol produced increasingly clear soap.
