Pola Pertumbuhan Kepiting Parathelphusa Pardus Di Rawa Desa Sawah Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau
Parathelphusa pardus is a new species of lowland freshwater crab from swamp area in the Sawah Village, Kampar District. Scientific information on growth patterns of the crab, however, is almost none. To understand the growth patterns of this crab, a research had been conducted from October-November 2016. There were 85 crabs , 11.01-38.08 mm carapace width (CW) and 0.5-18.5 gr body weight (BW) were captured from the swamp. There were 13 morphological characteristics measured and 3 meristical characteristics counted. The growth of posterior part of carapace, carapace length, abdomen weight and distance between eyes positively allometric to CW, while the carapace height pattern was isometric. The length-weight relationship shown that the growth of male and female crab is negative allometric.
