Status Trofik Danau Diatas Di Kabupaten Solok Provinsi Sumatera Barat Berdasarkan Tropic State Index
TSI was a common index for characterizing a lake’s trophic state. This index involving three variables namely chlorophyll-a, Secchi disk and total phosphorus. The average values of TSI of these three parameters will be considered in determining the trophic state in lake. To understand the trophic state of the Diatas Lake, a research was conducted in February – March 2017. There were three sampling stations namely Station 1 (inlet area), Station 2 (in the middle of the lake) and Station 3 (outlet area). In each station, there were three sampling points, in the surface (0.5 m), 2 Secchi depth (7 m) and 4 Secchi depth (14 m). Samplings were conducted 3 times, once/two week. Results shown that the transparency was 3.04 – 3.24 m, total phosphorus was 0.10 – 0.26 mg/L, chlorophyll-a was 1.68 – 3.31 μg/L, depth was 15.92 – 34.95 m, temperature was 19 - 20ºC, pH was 6, dissolved oxygen was 5.71 – 7.61 mg/L, free carbondioxide was 4.66 – 8.66 mg/L and nitrate was 0.03 – 0.07 mg/L. Based on the TSI value, the Diatas Lake was categorized as mesotrophic to light eutrophic.
