Pengaruh Arang Tempurung Kelapa Sebagai Pengganti Sebagian Pasir Terhadap Kuat Tekan Beton
Coconut Shell Coal is one of material who commonly be found, but the widespread use is only limited as disposable fuel, then the purpose of this research is to find out the influence of coconout shell coal to compressive strength of concrete. The specimen which used in this research is cube with size side 15cm. The percentage of coconut shell coal as partial subtitute of sand used in this research is 6%, 7%, 7,5%, 8%, and 9% from sand weight. From this research we obtained that the most increased concrete’s compressive strength is at 8% coconut shell coal which is 263,7 kg/cm2 or 21,8 MPa with increased percentage 17,2% compared to normal concrete, while the lowest increased concrete’s compressive strength is at 6% coconut shell coal which is 233,7 kg/cm2 or 19,4 MPa with increased percentage 3,87% compared to normal concrete
