Menaksir Parameter Distribusi Eksponensial Tersensor Tengah Dengan Metode Estimasi Maksimum Likelihood
This final project discusses the parameter estimators of middle cencored data
with exponential distribution having expectation E(x) = 1/θ. Parameter θ
is estimated using the method of maximum likelihood. Because the result
of maximum estimator ˆθ cannot be obtained explicitly, then for solution
of maximum estimator θ is done numerically using an iterative procedure h(θ).
Next, the convergence of the iterative procedure is given as an explicit solution
of θ. The simulation results show that the maximum estimator solution
obtained using an iterative procedure is convergent.
