Metode Iterasi Empat Langkah Optimal Dengan Konvergensi Orde Delapan
This final project discusses a family of four-step iteration method with six
parameters which requires three function evaluations and one derivative
function evaluation. Analytically it is showed that the iterative method has
the optimal order of convergence eight, with the efficiency index is 1:682 which
is optimal according to Kung and Traubs conjecture. Numerical comparisons
shows that four-step iteration method comparable to others methods of order
eight.
