Metode Iterasi Berorde Tinggi Berdasarkan Aturan Kuadratur Untuk Menentukan Akar Persamaan Nonlinear
This nal project discusses the high order iterative method based on a
quadrature rule for determining a simple root of nonlinear equations. The order
of the method depends on the number of quadrature nodes used. If the number
of quadrature nodes used is one, we obtains Newton method of the order two,
If the number of quadrature nodes used is two, we obtain Newton-Trapezoid
methods with the order of the convergence of three and if the number of
quadrature nodes used is three we obtain Newton-Simpson methods of order
four. Generally when the quadrature rule with n+1 nodes we will generate an
iterative method with order of convergence n + 2.
