Metode Iterasi Orde Delapan Dengan Indeks Efisiensi Tinggi Untuk Menyelesaikan Persamaan Nonlinear
This final project presents the use of a weight function to derive a new family
of eight-order method for finding a simple root of nonlinear equations. Per
iteration the method requires three function evaluations and one first
derivative function evaluation so that the efficiency index of the method is
1.682. Numerical comparisons using some test functions indicate that the
method can be used as an alternative in its class.
