Metode Secant-Like Baru Untuk Menyelesaikan Persamaan Nonlinear

This final project discusses a new secant-like method, derived by combining
two secant methods, to solve nonlinear equations. This method has order of
convergence 2:618 and requires two initial guesses to be applied. Furthermore,
the computational results show that the proposed method is superior compared
to secant’s method and Newton’s method in obtaining an approximation root.
