Penentuan Kinerja Bahan Bakar Dari Campuran Minyak Jelantah Dan Solar Yang Diolah Dengan Adsorben Detergen Pada Kompor Tungku Sumbu Solar
Wrapped oil has not been maximally utilized. The purpose of this research is to utilize cooking oil as fuel mixed with diesel oil with certain ratio. Before the mixture is used as fuel in the furnace stove first, it is treated with a detergent adsorbent. To get the best fuel performance, then treated variation misbah cooking oil : Diesel oil (1:9, 2:8, 3:7, 4:6 and 5:5) treatment ofvariation of amount of detergent adsorbent (15gr, 10gr, 15gr, 20gr, and 25gr). Fuel performance is determined by the color of the flame and the time it takes to boil 1 L of water. In this study, the best fuel yield has a yellow blue flame color and 06:30 minutes of time required to boil 1 L of water, this fuel is a mixture of cooking oil and diesel fuel at misbah 1:9, and before use it is treated with 15gr detergent adsorbent. The characteristics of this fuel are its density 0,92 gr/cm3, viscosity 38,83 mm2/s, value of color 40,254 MJ/kg, water content 0,8% and flash point 250oC.
