Modifikasi Metode Newton Dua Langkah Dengan Kemiringan Yang Sama Untuk Menyelesaikan Persamaan Nonlinear

This final projects present a two-step modified Newton’s method for solving
nonlinear equation. Analytically, it is shown that the iterative method has
the order of convergence four and each iteration, requires four function evaluations.
The efficiency index of the method is 1:414 which is the same as
Newton’s method. Furthermore, computational results show that the iterative
method is superior to the comparison methods in terms of the number of iterations
to obtain the estimated roots.
