Kondisi Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat Akibat Banjir Rob Di Kota Dumai

This research was conducted in the district of Kota Dumai and Dumai Barat Kota Dumai. This study aims to determine the socio-economic conditions of society to the tidal flood in Kota Dumai and can be an informatiom material, as input for goverment and related parties, this researcher can be made reference.
Sampling using non-probability sampling methods sampling of formula slovin, 44 samples with methods of data collecting was a questionnaire and observation. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative methods. Descriptive method that addresses issues with the research to describe and explain the basis of the data obtained so as to portray the situation. Quantitative analysis to calculate the expenses for the repair of buildings and for health expenses and income.
Based on the research that people in the district of Kota Dumai and Dumai Barat. From social conditionss disrupt the state of public health againtst the occurrence of floodin rob, and resulted public housing bulidings damaged and destroyed, in terms of income economy respondents can experience a decrease and respinden cost for building repairs with a total of rp 101.200.000 and an average of rp 6.324.725.28 and respondents also incurred health costs with a total of rp 2.285.000 and an average of rp 160.187.8 with a total of 44 respondents.
