This research was conducted in Rimba Melintang Subdistrict Rokan Hilir Regency, with the aim to analyze the factors causing the conversion of agricultural land of food crops in District Rimba Melintang Rokan Hilir Regency. This study was conducted on 40 respondents who have changed the function of agricultural land crops in the District of Rimba Melintang.
The method of analysis used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. This analysis is conducted to describe the variables that exist after getting the results of quantitative analysis to describe the cause of the decision of farmers to change the function of agricultural land crops in the District Rimba Melintang Rokan Hilir District
From the results of descriptive research has been explained that the average respondents gave responses agree to the factors causing the transfer of agricultural land crops, when viewed from the comparison of the average score of each variable can be seen that the average variable factor ineffectiveness of land has the largest score of 162 whit a percentage of 81% or categorized very influential.
