Analisis Penentuan Pusat - Pusat Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Di Kabupaten Kampar

This study aims to determine which sub-districts are the center of economic growth in Kampar Regency and to find out how much interaction between the sub-sidtricts of economic growth with the sub-districts around.
This research uses secondary data in 2015 which is sourced from BPS of Riau Province, BPS of Kampar Regency and the journal and literature related to the research. The data analysis method used is a Scalogram Analysis, combined with Centrality Index with weighted technique and Gravity Analysis. The analysis of Scalogram and Centrality Indexs used to determine the center of economic growth within a region based on the availability of public service facilities consisting of economic facilities, social facilities and government facilities. Gravity Analysis is used to find out how big the interaction between districts by using population variable and distance between sub-districts.
Based on the results of research by using a Scalogram Analysis and Centrality Index obtained there are five (5) districts that can be cetegorized as the central district of economic growth in Kampar Regency that is sub-district Bangkinang Kota, sub-district Siak Hulu, sub-district Kampar Kiri, sub-district Kampar and sub-district Tapung Hulu. Based on the result of Gravity Analysis, the result shows that sub-district Bangkinang Kota has the most interaction relationship with sub-district Bangkinang as hinterland region, sub-district Siak Hulu has the most interaction relationship with sub-district Perhentian Raja as hinterland region, sub-district Kampar Kiri has the most interaction relationship with sub-district Gunung Sahilan as hinterland region, sub-district Kampar has the most interaction relationship with sub-district Bangkinang Kota as hinterland region and sub-district Tapung Hulu has the most interaction relationship with sub-district Tapung as hinterland region.
