Persepsi Petani Terhadap Peran Kelembagaan Agribisnis Sistem Integrasi Sapi-Kelapa Sawit (Siska) Di Kecamatan Pangkalan Lesung Kabupaten Pelalawan

The development of cattle through the integration system in the oil palm plantation area has a great opportunity to be developed in the region, considering the potential of oil palm plantations that are widely available, especially smallholdings. Crop-livestock integration system is an agricultural system that is characterized by a close association between crop components and livestock in one farming activity. This research was conducted in Pangkalan Lesung Subdistrict of Pelalawan Regency which aimed to identify institutional supporting agribusiness subsystem and to know perception of farmer to institutional role of SISKA in Pangkalan Lesung Subdistrict of Pelalawan Regency. The method used is survey method with census sampling on 6 groups of farmers with total sample of 63 farmers. the results of the research indicate that institutions supporting the Palm Oil Cow Integration System (SISKA) are government institution, extension worker institution, cooperative institution, marketing institution, financing institution, research institution, guarantee institution, risk insurers and educational institution. Government institution, extension worker institution, research institution and educational institution are included to influential category. Cooperative institution, financing institution, guarantee institution and risk insurers are included to less influential category. As for the marketing institution are included to category is very less influential category.
