ABSTRACT
The partition function p(n) for a positive integer n is the number of non-
increasing sequences of positive integers which sum to n, while the partition
function pod(n) is the number of partitions of n wherein odd parts are dis-
tinct and even parts are can be repeated. This thesis discusses the proof on
pod(3n+2) 2(????1)n+1r5(8n+5) (mod 9) dan pod(5n+2) 2(????1)n r3(8n+3)
(mod 5) using congruent modulo on the partition function pod(n).
