Pengaruh Pengembangan Karir, Kompetensi Dan Locus Of Controlterhadapkinerja Dengan Komitmen Organisasi Sebagai Variabel Intervening Pada Dinas Perindustrian Dan Perdagangan Provinsi Riau
The study population were employees of Dinas Perindustrian dan
Perdagangan Provinsi Riau as many as 220 people. By using the Slovinmethod,
sample specified of 142 employees. The sample selection based on a purposive
sampling technique. Path analysis were used as method.
The result shows that the competence and locus of control partially have
significant effect to organizational commitment and performance, and
organizational commitment significantly affect the performance. Career
development does not significantly influences the organizational commitment and
performance in the Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Riau.
Based on the result, the recommendations of this study are: Information
disclosure was needed in order to make sure that the employees got an equal
career development chances. Technical educations and training, and scholarship
were needed to improve the competence of the employees. The institute need to
maintains the work environment and comfort to improve the locust of control.
