Hubungan Antara Motivasi Kerja Dan Kompensasi Dengan Kinerja Guru Smp Negeri Se Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis

This study aims to determine: 1) The relationship between work motivation and teacher performance. 2) The relationship between compensation and teacher performance. 3) The relationship between both motivation and compensation with teacher performance. The analytical method used in this study is a quantitative method, the data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis, inferential statistical analysis and hypothesis testing. The instrument reliability coefficient was calculated using the Cronbach alpha formula. The sampling method uses the Slovin formula where the population of the study are 190 teachers atJunior High School at Kecamatan Mandau of Bengkalis and 129 people selected as samples. The results of the study concluded:there is a positive relationship between work motivation and teacher performance of 0.226 and there is a positive relationship between compensation and teacher performance of 0.191. While simultaneously the results of the study indicated a positive relationship between work motivation and compensation with teacher performance of 0.332.
