Pengaruh Motivasi Berprestasi Dan Akuntabilitas Terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Guru Bahasa Inggris Sekolah Menengah Atas Di SMA Negeri Kota Pekanbaru
Teacher work productivity is in the main spotlight in improving quality and integrity of education, including the work productivity of English teachers in Public Senior High School (SMA) of Pekanbaru , Riau Province. The purpose of this research is to prove how much achievement motivation, accountability and a combination of achievement motivation and accountability affect work productivity of English teachers in Senior High Schools of Pekanbaru City. This research used a type of quantitative research carried out all English teachers of Public Senior High School Pekanbaru at the program of Subject Matter Teacher Discussion (MGMP) which was attended by all English Teachers who are teaching English in Public Senior High School Pekanbaru. This Program is held in Plus Senior High School of Riau Province and Senior High School 8 Pekanbaru. In this study there are three research variables, namely two independent variables consisting of achievement motivation and accountability and one dependent variable, namely teacher work productivity. The population of this research was all Public Senior High School English teachers in Pekanbaru totaling 80 people. This study used probability sampling techniques. Data collection techniques used in this study are documentation, observation, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis in this study is to test normality, homogeneity test, and linearity test. The results of this study indicate that there is significant influence between achievement motivation toward teacher work productivity, accountability toward teacher work productivity and there are significant influence between achievement motivation and accountability toward teacher work productivity. Suggestions from this study are that it is better for Public Senior High School increase their English teacher's work productivity through increasing achievement motivation and accountability of the teachers.
