Studi Regenerasi Vegetasi Di Hutan Mangrove Solop Desa Pulau Cawan Kecamatan Mandah
Mangroves grow on the surface between land and sea in tropical and sub-tropical regions with high salinity, brackish water, muddy soil, anaerobes, and play a very important role in the process of coastal ecosystems. Mangroves have several role in environment such as spawning, nurturing and foraging for certain biota. In addition, mangroves are also able to act as abrasion restraints. More than 50% of the mangrove forest in tis study has been damaged. The purpose of this study was to determine the regeneration of mangrove vegetation in Solop, Pulau Cawan Village, Mandah District. In this study, three transects were placed in three locations by purposive sampling. The results of this study are we found three types of mangroves which are Rhizophora apiculata, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza and Bruguiera parviflora. All three levels of growth have low diversity. The regeneration status of R. apiculata and B. gymnorrhiza are in a good category while B. parviflora is in the low category.
