Pengaruh Komitmen Kerja Dan Iklim Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru SMP Negeri Sekecamatan Tapung Kabupaten Kampar
The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the effect among variables (1) work commitment and school climate simultaneously towards the performance of teachers at State Junior High School within Tapung District Kampar Regency, (2) work commitment partially towards the performance of teachers at State Junior High School within Tapung District Kampar Regency, (3) school climate partially towards the performance of teachers at State Junior High School within Tapung District Kampar Regency. The research variables consisted of two independent variables; they were Work Commitment (X1) and School Climate (X2). While the dependent variable was performance of teachers (Y). The population in this research were Civil Servant Teachers at State Junior High School within Tapung District in the amount of 121 teachers and samples were 89 teachers. The instruments of data collection were by using questionnaires for variable work commitment and school climate. While for performance of teachers by using PKG (Teachers Performance Assessment). The technique of data analysis was by using descriptive quantitative analysis and multiple regression.
The research results show that: (1) there is no positive and significant effect between work commitment partially towards the performance of teachers because the value of regression coefficient is = -0,021 and sig. (0,880>0.05), (2) there is no positive and significant effect between school climate partially towards the performance of teachers because the value of regression coefficient = -0,050 and sig. (0,726>0.05), (3) there is no positive and significant effect between Work commitment and school climate simultaneously towards the performance of teachers because the value of r = 0,066 and sig. (0,154 > 0,05).
