Pengaruh Motivasi Berprestasi Dan Supervisi Akademik Terhadap Kompetensi Profesional Guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri Di Kecamatan Seberida Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu
This study aims to analyze the effect of achievement motivation and academic supervision on the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Seberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. This study used a survey method with a correlation approach carried out in public elementary schools in Seberida District. The research sample was 100 people, and the main technique of data collection was done by questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistics.
The results showed a significant effect between achievement motivation and teacher professional competence, and obtained a significant effect between academic supervision and teacher professional competence. In addition, there was a significant effect between achievement motivation and academic supervision with the professional competence of elementary school teachers. The results of this study can be concluded that the better the achievement motivation and academic supervision of elementary school teachers, the professional competence of primary school teachers will be better. This research is expected to be useful for the enhancement or improvement of teacher professional competence in carrying out their responsibility as an educator in school.
